Why would I ask for perfection that glam in the World’s eyes? When I have an imperfection, which glams in my eyes as the only perfect one!

Everyone has some kind of aspirations and dreams to achieve something. We are living in a world where everything is moving with a great pace. We are constantly changing and evolving. We are living in an era where we are persistently exposed to noise and chaos. We are so used to all these things that we have thought it to be the correct way of living. The society is constantly altering our thoughts by imposing some false belief so that we don’t end up ruining anything.  The consumerism market is exposing us with tones of goods and infusing us with a belief that our happiness depends on the number of things we have accumulated, which is not true. They are just trying to make profit by keeping us captivated through our own desires. Unknowingly, we are becoming slaves of our own desire, which in turn is creating voidness. Everyone is busy potraying, how buying goods can buy happiness. Everyone is more focused on how they are perceived by others but had too little concern about how they really feel for themselves.

To be happy you don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be real and accept yourself as you are because you are already enough.

We are continuously bombarded with various stuffs that  infuse us with the feeling that more things means more happiness. But that is not true, buying things can only gives  us comfort whereas living a life of purpose can give immense satisfaction which in turn fetches peace.  When we start falling in the trap of accumulating things, we will always face disappointment. When we begin with one, we will look for the next and so on. And it is a never ending process.  Owning things is actually not a bad thing until we associate it with happiness rather a mode to attain comfort.

We need to understand that we have fallen victim of the so called consumerism. We have been convinced that we are not enough and we must own something or look in a certain way to gain acceptance and approval. We have been invoked by the idea that we have some missing parts into us and it can only be fulfilled by owning something. We started believing in this fact and went on a journey to accumulate more and more. Though we earned and accumulated a lot, but we  never remained at peace.

At the end, the only thing which remain with us is how we felt and how we made others feel like, rest others are illusions which get vapourised with the passing time. So create memories and live your life to the fullest instead of settling for anything lesser.
